The Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's program caters to high-achieving UMBC undergraduates across all disciplines. Participants can apply up to 9 credits from their senior year toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees, effectively decreasing the total credits needed for the graduate degree. For instance, those who maximize this 9-credit opportunity only require 21 more credits to earn their master's. The UMBC Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health expresses unwavering support for our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community members following recent acts of violence nationwide. We join UMBC leadership in mourning lives lost to systemic racism and white supremacy, reaffirming our commitment to combating these injustices.
