The Forest Resources Ph.D. represents the pinnacle of academic achievement, demanding candidates with outstanding scholarly backgrounds and practical expertise. Doctoral candidates must develop and execute an innovative dissertation project capable of generating multiple peer-reviewed publications. The School of Forest Resources evaluates applicants based on academic performance, mandatory GRE results, professional experience, and reference letters.
Prospective students aiming for fall enrollment with financial support must complete their submissions (including graduate application, academic transcripts, GRE results, and three recommendation letters) by January 15. Late applications may still qualify for admission but significantly reduce opportunities for assistantship funding.
