Most graduate students pursue Ph.D. studies, with all first-year students typically receiving teaching assistant positions. Theoretical and Computational Chemistry
Theoretical chemistry advances fundamental concepts that form chemistry's theoretical foundation, including chemical bonding, reactions, valence theory, potential energy surfaces, molecular orbitals, and activation processes. Computational Chemistry applies computer simulations to address chemical challenges, utilizing theoretical methods through specialized software to analyze molecular structures and material properties.
