The Master of Science in Educational Counseling program equips caring professionals to become highly skilled, principled, and effective counselors capable of leadership and advocacy. School counselors foster inclusive settings that encourage cultural awareness, educational excellence, and equitable opportunities. They adopt comprehensive strategies to enhance learning experiences, ensuring student achievement across academic, career preparation, and personal development areas.
For optimal accessibility, the MS in Educational Counseling program is offered at multiple California campuses such as La Verne, Bakersfield, Burbank, Irvine, and Santa Clarita. Classes are scheduled during late afternoons, evenings, and select weekends to accommodate working professionals, with flexible full-time or part-time enrollment options. The program requires 55-71 credit hours and can be finished in a minimum of 2 years for full-time students, or 2 to 3.5 years for those pursuing specialized concentrations.
