Expert, compassionate counselors possess the tools to assist people and families in these journeys. Our counseling program equips you with practical skills to enter the profession immediately after graduation.

Graduates pursue counseling careers in K-12 schools, higher education institutions, community organizations, and independent practices.

Numerous students balance degree completion with existing school or institutional employment. Our flexible program eliminates the need to choose between academics and work. Classes meet evenings, through live virtual sessions, or via self-paced online learning. Study options include full-time or part-time at our Mount Pleasant location, or part-time through hybrid, hyflex, or fully online formats across Michigan. All pathways include intensive practical training. The required practicum involves direct client work with diverse age groups.
