To enroll in the Certificate in Paralegal Studies program, applicants need either a bachelor's degree or 60 semester credit hours (with at least 18 in general education) from an accredited college. The general education requirements must incorporate three credit hours of college-level English composition plus 15 credits distributed across three of these subject areas: social/behavioral sciences, English writing/literature, foreign languages, mathematics, humanities, natural sciences, or arts appreciation/history.

Qualification Requirements

If you are finishing up high school or are a recent high school graduate, you will be applying as a first-time freshman student. When reviewing freshmen applications, our admissions committee will be looking to see if you have completed the following classes and passed with a grade of C or better (no foreign language courses are required): four years of English, three years of social science, passed or surpassed Algebra 2
and two years of science (one must be a lab).
