The Ed.D. program features a mandatory core curriculum along with a selection of elective courses. Students can specialize in particular educational fields. This interdisciplinary program offers coursework in physical education, physical activity promotion, health promotion, epidemiology, sociology, behavioral sciences, and public health. With typically small graduate class sizes, students benefit from interactive discussions and personalized attention. The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion prioritizes individual students and their unique requirements. As a doctoral candidate, our aim is to equip you to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physical education methods, curriculum development, and activity promotion, conduct impactful research, publish in prestigious journals, connect with physical education teacher educators (PETE) globally, partner with faculty on research initiatives, and demonstrate professional conduct as a PETE scholar.
