The School of Social Welfare equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed for social work careers.
Through fostering compassion and understanding, the institution trains future social workers to fulfill the profession's core missions: unlocking human potential, enhancing personal welfare, and advancing social justice.
The Bachelor of Social Work curriculum readies graduates for entry-level general practice across diverse settings including individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. It also provides a foundation for pursuing advanced social work degrees or graduate studies in related fields.
Upon completing the program, graduates will demonstrate professional competence when working under supervision with various client systems at all practice levels.
Admission will be granted to students who meet the following standard:
A minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for all previous coursework, including transfer coursework.
English Proficiency:
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition: 79 (18 minimum subscore)
TOEFL paper-delivered test: 60 (18 minimum subscore)
IELTS: 6.5 (6.0 minimum subscore)
PTE Academic: 53
