Looking to create positive change? Transform your passion into meaningful work. Our Bachelor of Social Work program blends academic learning with hands-on experience, equipping you with the tools to enhance clients' lives and strengthen communities.
Social work is a professional degree path. Before entering the professional program, students completing prerequisites and general education courses are classified as 'Social Work-Pre-Admit' majors. Admission to the BSW program as a full 'Social Work' major is required to advance in the curriculum and take professional courses starting fall semester (typically junior year). Gaining admission to the professional program is competitive and requires an application. Visit the Division of Social Work catalog page for complete admission criteria.
