The School of Nursing provides three bachelor's-level nursing options: Pre-Licensure BSN, RN to BSN, and Community College Nursing Partnership (CCNP).

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from KU's School of Nursing equips graduates to thrive in various healthcare environments. Alumni with KU BSN degrees qualify for positions in hospitals, public health organizations, industrial or long-term care facilities, as well as specialized roles like travel nursing or flight nursing.

Since its establishment in 1929, KU's nursing bachelor's program has produced graduates who advance to supervisory roles and leadership positions throughout Kansas and nationwide. These alumni also possess strong foundations for pursuing advanced nursing degrees at the master's or doctoral level.

Notable medical institutions like Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic recruit School of Nursing graduates, along with prestigious local healthcare providers such as The University of Kansas Health System and Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.
