Studying psychology enables you to investigate human behavior and mental processes, applying these insights to contemporary society.
There are numerous motivations for choosing psychology as a major. Some students enjoy analyzing how people interact, intrigued by their findings and eager to understand human actions. Others aspire to pursue careers in psychology or related fields where psychological knowledge is valuable—including business, education, healthcare, law, social services, ministry, counseling, academic support, child development, management, or personnel.
Admission will be granted to students who meet the following standard:
A minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for all previous coursework, including transfer coursework.
English Proficiency:
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition: 79 (18 minimum subscore)
TOEFL paper-delivered test: 60 (18 minimum subscore)
IELTS: 6.5 (6.0 minimum subscore)
PTE Academic: 53
