The University of Iowa's School Psychology program offers both PhD and EdS degrees. This program prepares future health service psychologists to become highly skilled, ethical, and culturally aware professionals who advance psychology to improve lives. Focusing on challenges affecting youth and families, the program provides doctoral and specialist degree options for enrolled students. Academic advisors assist students in meeting degree requirements. Participants engage with community organizations such as Iowa schools, AEAs, the Belin-Blank Center, UI Hospitals and Clinics, and the Scanlan Center for School Mental Health. Students also collaborate with peers across College of Education programs, including Counseling Psychology, Rehabilitation and Counseling Education, and Special Education graduate programs.
