Music Performance students concentrate on mastering their chosen instrument or vocal technique while building essential music knowledge in theory and history. Throughout their studies, performers enjoy numerous chances to shine as soloists, in chamber groups, and as part of larger ensembles, equipping them for professional careers. The highlight of a music performance student's journey is the mandatory senior recital. Taking place in the prestigious Ruth Lilly Performance Hall, this culminating event allows students to demonstrate their artistic development and transition into professional performance. In their final year, students collaborate closely with private instructors to curate and perfect a full-length recital program.
