The Social Sciences & Education Policy program provides an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating insights from sociology, political science, anthropology, and cultural studies. This multidisciplinary approach examines the social dimensions of educational policy and practice, with special attention to issues of social justice across both formal and informal learning environments.
Students will engage with research and scholarly works from various social science disciplines. The curriculum emphasizes understanding educational systems through the lens of social justice, analyzing both structured classroom settings and alternative learning spaces. Social Sciences & Education Policy combines methodologies and theories from multiple fields to critically assess the relationship between education and society.
