The Philosophy of Education program caters to students with varied philosophical pursuits and perspectives, including ethics and social justice, equity in educational access, theories of knowledge, philosophical approaches to educational research, sociopolitical frameworks in schooling, digital learning tools, and moral challenges in higher education.
As one of the premier global programs in this field, we consider philosophical inquiry to be an essential, analytical practice fundamental to developing sound educational approaches, methodologies, and investigations. Utilizing multiple philosophical schools of thought, our students examine educational objectives, conceptual frameworks, and implementation strategies in various contexts - from analyzing pedagogical relationships to evaluating technology's role in learning, classical education models, teaching ethics, developing reasoning skills, arts education, educational rights, and the defining characteristics of public education systems.
