As part of the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB), our department collaborates with Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, and Molecular and Integrative Physiology units. The MCB umbrella program connects students with 80 diverse research labs, offering access to more than 60 potential thesis advisors across the school. We maintain strong partnerships with the School of Integrative Biology, School of Chemical Sciences, and medical colleges. Our alumni pursue careers in academia, corporate research, and public sector science. Most PhD graduates secure prestigious postdoctoral fellowships before advancing to research leadership roles in universities or industry.
