The four-year Bachelor of Science in Architecture offers an in-depth pre-professional architectural education integrated with the University's liberal arts curriculum. This eight-semester program features a structured studio sequence focusing on architecture and urban design, complemented by courses in technical and theoretical studies, delivering a thorough foundation in architectural principles.
UIC's Architecture program equips students with essential design capabilities, innovative problem-solving skills, and analytical competencies that open diverse career paths. While numerous alumni advance to professional Master of Architecture programs, others enter careers or pursue graduate studies in areas including law, visual communication, property development, urban planning, and business administration
First-year applicants are currently enrolled in high school or have not attended college since graduation.
