As a participant in this curriculum, you'll examine terrestrial geological phenomena, the consequences of weathering and sedimentation, plus the genesis and applications of various rock and mineral formations. The program also covers techniques for identifying, conserving, and safeguarding vital natural assets such as aquifers, ore deposits, and fossil fuels.

Participants may specialize in various concentrations including broad geological studies, water systems, environmental geoscience, resource prospecting, crustal deformation and plate tectonics, or earth science instruction.
