The University of Houston's Graduate College of Social Work and Law Center provide a dual degree program designed to equip students for careers at the intersection of legal and social work professions. This combined curriculum is particularly valuable for fields like public sector work, healthcare and mental health services, child and family welfare, and policy-making. Students can complete both degrees more efficiently than pursuing them individually. Prospective students must gain independent acceptance to each program, as admission to one doesn't guarantee entry to the other. Careful planning is essential to ensure LSAT and GRE scores are submitted before application deadlines.
