Bachelor's Degree
To earn a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering, students must complete thirty (30) credit hours of approved coursework if they hold a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering. Those admitted with undergraduate degrees in other engineering disciplines (such as chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering) must additionally take twelve (12) credits of foundational courses. These preparatory courses equip students for the graduate program but do not count toward the degree requirements, nor do they substitute for an engineering bachelor's degree.
