Our Master of Fine Arts in creative writing enables students to specialize in a particular genre while exploring a wide variety of English literature. This isn't a studio-based program but rather prepares graduates for careers in:
Publishing creative works
Teaching literature and creative writing at an advanced level
Leadership roles in business, education, and arts communications
Pursuing doctoral studies in literature and creative writing
Entry into our creative writing program is highly selective, with only about 20 students admitted annually across two genres from numerous global applications. The M.F.A. curriculum focuses intensely on both creative writing and literary analysis.
