The department provides graduate programs culminating in a Master of Arts degree in both political science and public administration. Political science courses encompass these key areas: American government, policy studies, administrative processes, legal systems, political philosophy, research methodologies, and international political systems. MA candidates can choose between a thesis track (30 credit hours plus thesis) or a non-thesis alternative (33 credit hours with a comprehensive literature review).
