The Hobby School of Public Affairs and its Master of Public Administration Program provide a combined graduate certificate in public policy. This Public Policy and Public Administration Graduate Certificate gives students a comprehensive introduction to both fields.
Graduate certificates serve as an efficient option for students seeking extra qualifications and practical skills in less time than completing a full master's program. These certificates consist of four designated courses that may also apply toward either the Master of Public Policy or Master of Public Administration degree if students subsequently enroll in these programs.

All graduate students are required to provide proof of the attainment of a Bachelor's degree before enrolling at the University of Houston. Credential Evaluations are completed in house at the Graduate School, and outside evaluations will not be accepted.
