This Health Promotion Track includes a Core curriculum, Health Electives, and Approved Electives. Individuals who have earned a two-year Associate degree in allied health disciplines (such as dental hygiene, respiratory therapy, health information technology, speech-language pathology assisting, nursing, occupational therapy assisting, pharmacy technology, radiologic technology, or physical therapy) may transfer applicable University core courses and advisor-approved credits from their allied health program. The program structure complements students' prior education and professional experience while enabling them to advance toward a Bachelor's Degree. Upon completion, graduates meet the qualifications to pursue CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) certification.
