Bachelor's Degree
The dual Master's program enables students to pursue two degrees simultaneously while applying up to nine shared credits across both programs. Prospective students must apply separately to each program, fulfill all admission criteria for both, and begin both programs in the same semester (with Law program exceptions). Note that while LIS admits students in both Fall and Spring terms, some programs may restrict enrollment to Fall semesters only. Primary degree (Pacific Islands Studies): For this 30-credit MA program, LIS recognizes 9 credits at 400 and 600 levels toward the MLIS degree, reducing the MLISc requirement from 39 to 30 credits, resulting in a combined total of 60 credits for both degrees.
