The Environmental Law Program at the Law School is highly regarded for its outstanding quality and faculty knowledge. Specializing in environmental law equips students with strong foundations for careers in legal practice, academia, or environmental policy development. LLM candidates focusing on this area develop deeper awareness of our island ecosystem's splendor and vulnerability, while learning about critical environmental challenges. The Law School is also establishing an Energy Law Program featuring diverse courses on renewable energy policy and development. Annually, the Environmental Law Society hosts numerous seminars, events, and discussions across the islands, providing both practical and academic insights into key environmental and energy topics. LLM participants can engage in all environmental and energy-related initiatives, from casual gatherings to structured programs arranged by the Law School.
