The undergraduate program explores how political power operates within governments, between nations, and across institutions like schools, workplaces, families, media, and everyday interactions. Students develop into analytical thinkers who recognize how power structures influence and are influenced by individuals, social movements, governments, and other societal forces.
Our program focuses on building essential skills in clear writing, effective speaking, critical analysis, research methods, and thoughtful decision-making. Beyond classroom learning, we provide practical opportunities like community internships to prepare students for diverse career paths, including but not restricted to:
Government and Legal Fields - Legislative aides, campaign strategists, urban planners, diplomatic corps, legal/military personnel, advocacy specialists, lawyers, policy advisors
