The undergraduate program in Geography and Environment provides a Bachelor of Arts (BA) major where students explore the vital relationships between human societies and the natural world. They gain comprehensive knowledge about global systems while developing practical fieldwork and research skills applicable to diverse career paths at local, national, and global levels, spanning environmental planning, resource conservation, and policy formulation.
Our geography bachelor's program features three interconnected study areas:
Environmental geography systematically examines Earth's physical systems and anthropogenic transformations.
Human geography investigates cultural, economic, ecological, and political forces that influence human communities and spatial identities.
Geospatial information science employs GIS technology, remote sensing, and mapping techniques to analyze environmental and social challenges.
