The Hartt School provides multiple specialization options for its Master of Music program. These programs are structured to help students reach peak professional performance standards. Typically, candidates should possess an undergraduate music degree from an NASM-approved institution or an equivalent international university. The Graduate Studies Committee maintains authority to assess whether applicants' qualifications match bachelor's degree equivalency. Some candidates might need to complete an assessment test to evaluate their readiness for Hartt's graduate programs.
