Our combined Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (BS/MSOT) is an accelerated five-year pathway that fast-tracks your professional journey. This integrated program allows students to fulfill undergraduate requirements before transitioning into graduate studies during their fourth year, culminating with a master's degree by year five. Occupational therapists empower individuals across all life stages to maintain active, fulfilling, and autonomous lifestyles. Their expertise supports diverse populations - from children with developmental challenges to seniors recovering from neurological events - enabling meaningful participation in daily activities. Our BS/MSOT curriculum begins with a Health Sciences bachelor's degree, establishing the scientific foundation and general education prerequisites for advanced study. Sophomore and junior years include specialized pre-OT courses offering career insights and professional orientation.
The graduate phase commences in year four, delivering core scientific coursework, hands-on skill labs, and immersive fieldwork. Students gain practical experience across various demographic groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations. The program concludes with intensive full-time fieldwork in the final semester. Successful graduates qualify to take the NBCOT certification examination for occupational therapy licensure.
