Our Exploratory/Undecided program provides a structured approach to discovering your strengths, passions, and future career options before selecting a major by sophomore year. Being undecided is completely normal - numerous first-year students join us with open academic and professional possibilities. With 23 majors and 28 minors available through the College of Arts and Sciences, you'll have abundant opportunities to investigate different fields. Our specialized program supports you in uncovering your talents and aspirations, with the flexibility to finalize your major choice by sophomore year. From your very first term, you'll access dedicated guidance and exploratory seminars while completing general education courses aligned with your curiosities. Like all Arts and Sciences students, you'll take a First-Year Seminar on engaging subjects that introduce college-level expectations while collaborating with peers across disciplines. Potential seminar themes range from Beauty, Body Image & Feminism to Game Theory, Decision-Making Psychology, and Survival Narratives.
