Students in visual communication design develop skills for creating both static and interactive projects, ranging from motion graphics to product packaging and advertising materials. The VCD curriculum covers all visual languages used for communication, with coursework designed to enhance your design abilities. You'll study design theory, methods, and history while gaining hands-on experience through real client projects by your final year. This program trains designers to critically analyze how to convey narratives visually through design components instead of verbal language. It's essential to consider not just the aesthetic appeal of your work, but also how audiences will engage with it.
