Focused on more rigorous lab science preparation compared to the A.A. in Liberal Studies, these specialized tracks equip students for careers in biology, health sciences, radiology, or physical therapy. To earn an Associate in Science, General Sciences degree - indicating program completion - students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA while completing a 60-credit academic program tailored to their chosen field. Note: Pass/No Pass physical education credits don't count toward the 60 credits required for the A.S. degree.

The radiology specialization prepares Hillyer students to transition into the radiologic technology program at the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions.
