Ball State's Associate in Science in Radiography program trains you to become a skilled medical imaging specialist. Graduates gain the expertise for a rewarding career that blends patient care with advanced technical equipment operation. Our curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge and hands-on training needed to excel as entry-level radiographers, fostering professional growth and clinical proficiency to serve patients, communities, and the medical field. Upon completion, graduates qualify to take the ARRT national certification exam. Successful candidates earn the Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) credential. The program develops competent entry-level radiographers - healthcare professionals trained to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures that aid in medical diagnosis and treatment.
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
Spring Term - application materials due by November 15th
Priority application date for fall enrollment: March 1; priority application date for spring enrollment: December 1.
