Focused on more rigorous lab science preparation compared to the A.A. in Liberal Studies, these specialized tracks equip students for careers in biology, health sciences, radiology, or physical therapy. To earn an Associate in Science, General Sciences degree - which indicates program completion - students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA while completing a 60-credit academic program tailored to their chosen field. Note: Pass/No Pass physical education courses do not count toward the 60 credits required for the A.S. degree.
The physical therapy specialization prepares Hillyer students for seamless transfer into the physical therapy program at the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions.
