Focused on more rigorous lab science preparation compared to the A.A. in Liberal Studies, these specialized tracks equip students for careers in biology, health sciences, radiology, or physical therapy. To earn an Associate in Science, General Sciences degree - indicating program completion - students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while completing a 60-credit curriculum tailored to their chosen discipline. Note: Pass/No Pass physical education courses do not count toward the required 60 credits for the A.S. degree.
The biology specialization prepares Hillyer students for seamless transfer into the biology program at the College of Arts & Sciences.
