You'll gain expertise in tackling challenges related to renewable resources like food supplies, timber, water sources, solar energy, and wind power, as well as finite resources such as fossil fuels and land. The curriculum covers critical topics like conservation practices, sustainable development, land management policies, pollution mitigation, energy systems, and ecosystem preservation. By completing a thesis in one of these specialized fields, you'll develop the skills and assurance needed to tackle intricate environmental problems.
Advanced degree options include both master's and PhD programs. The Master of Science (MS) in agricultural economics and the Master of Science (MS) in environmental economics each mandate a minimum of 27 course credits plus three thesis credits.
