The Master of Science in Engineering offers students a demanding yet flexible curriculum and research setting, equipping them to synthesize insights from diverse fields and tackle challenges that span conventional academic boundaries.
Its mission is to create, refine, and share knowledge and technologies for managing interdisciplinary engineering systems.
The MS-E program delivers a challenging, adaptable curriculum and research framework that enables students to combine findings from various domains and solve multi-dimensional issues extending beyond traditional engineering fields. It offers comprehensive education in science and engineering focused on addressing intricate problems that cross specialized engineering areas. This degree mandates twenty-four credit hours of coursework, featuring ENGR 6910 (Research Methods) and one seminar credit (ENGR 8950). Additionally, six thesis research hours are required. Students are encouraged to complete six hours each of mathematics and statistics, with remaining courses aligned with their thesis focus. For more information, please consult the graduate coordinator.
