The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides a Master of Science program in this field. Your curriculum encompasses computer programming, computational modeling, and specialized electrical/computer engineering classes. Additionally, you'll undertake a research initiative under the guidance of a faculty expert. Qualification Requirements

A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00
Applicants for graduate study must have earned at least a 4-year U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree. Typically, 16 years of schooling with four years of full-time study at the university level, culminating with the award of a first or second degree. Applicants must submit their academic record/transcript at the time of application. The Graduate School accepts unofficial transcripts at the time of application and does not require third-party credential evaluations.
Entry into the program requires completion of a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or a closely related field.
Prospective students will be ranked and considered for admission based on the following information:
Requirements of the Graduate School, including: undergraduate transcripts, and TOEFL scores (if required)
GRE scores (waived for Miami graduates)
Three letters of recommendation
The applicant's essay describing the purpose of his/her study.
