A two-year, full-time cohort program designed to prepare entry-level professionals in student affairs education with broad foundational training. The curriculum emphasizes student growth and learning, practical application of theories, and hands-on learning experiences.
As part of the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services in the College of Education, the CSAA Program stands alongside two other master's programs: School Counseling and Community Counseling. This program aligns with the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) guidelines while fulfilling the academic requirements of both the University of Georgia Graduate School and College of Education. Students engage in conventional coursework and research, complemented by practical learning opportunities including fieldwork, practicums, and internships.
