The Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership (MA NML), previously known as the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Organizations (MNPO), is a graduate-level program designed for aspiring leaders in the nonprofit sector. This 33-credit program combines coursework with practical internships, addressing essential subjects like fundraising, financial management, volunteer coordination, grant writing, and core nonprofit sector theories. Students can choose electives from various departments and complete internships locally in Athens, statewide in Georgia, nationally, or internationally. The program's curriculum equips graduates with skills applicable to organizations of all sizes, spanning diverse fields such as social services, environmental protection, religious charities, athletics, education, and cultural institutions.
