This certificate program is open to both current UGA master's students and those who have already earned a master's degree. The Historic Preservation Studies certificate aims to: Cultivate recognition of how historic resources enhance life quality and environments. Promote comprehension of preservation challenges, needs, and possibilities, along with citizens' potential roles in safeguarding these resources. Equip students to contribute as knowledgeable volunteers or leaders in preservation groups, government commissions, and community initiatives. Offer academic integration of preservation studies for degree-seeking students or additional educational enrichment for existing master's degree holders.
