An increasing number of businesses now handle a substantial share of their financial operations across global markets. Even domestic U.S. companies must contend with foreign competition for both imports and workforce. Consequently, large enterprises leveraging international opportunities gain a strategic advantage. The University of Georgia offers an Accounting and International Business dual major to help students acquire comprehensive knowledge of global financial and commercial landscapes. The curriculum covers international commerce, accounting principles, economic theory, financial systems, IT applications, legal frameworks, corporate strategy, global marketing, and related subjects. Participants must also complete an international experience component, which may include study abroad, internships, or advanced foreign language studies.
