The Digital World Institute's MiDAS (Masters in Digital Arts & Sciences) program equips students with essential technical, design, and professional competencies for success in today's interactive media sectors. This intensive one-year graduate program, starting in late Summer and concluding the following Spring, specializes in cutting-edge technologies like Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR).
Ideal for professionals from various fields, the program supports career advancement at the crossroads of interactive media, technological innovation, and emerging digital platforms.
Through close mentorship from faculty specialists in a team-based setting, MiDAS participants develop professional-grade projects that form the foundation of their career portfolios, ensuring they're industry-prepared upon completing the program.
Students seeking admission are expected to have an undergraduate background including: A degree in one of the fine arts or liberal arts; A body of work that demonstrates accomplishment in the intended area; A body of work that can clearly be enhanced with skills to be acquired in the DAS program.
For applicants from countries (including Puerto Rico) where English is not the official language, a minimum score on one of these English Language Skills tests: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 paper, or 80 Internet; International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 77, or documented successful completion of the University of Florida English Language Institute program.
