The School offers Master of Science, Master of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (non-thesis), and Doctor of Philosophy degrees through its Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program.
Faculty research focuses on diverse areas including water chemistry, aquatic ecology, marine ecosystems, crustacean studies, aquatic genetics, reproductive biology of fish and shellfish, fisheries health, population dynamics, algal microbiology, stream ecosystems, and aquatic vegetation management.
The Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences graduate program tailors its approach to each student's unique goals. Candidates collaborate directly with faculty advisors to create personalized study plans. Enrollment decisions consider applicants' qualifications, alignment with Graduate School standards, and faculty advisor approval.
