Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology (PCMB) is a cross-disciplinary graduate program spanning multiple departments, focusing on the molecular and cellular processes governing plant growth, environmental adaptation, and evolutionary changes. The program offers both Master's and Doctoral degrees. Core curriculum includes Advanced Genetics, Plant Molecular Biology and Genomics, Plant Cellular and Developmental Biology, and Plant Biochemistry. Beyond these fundamentals, students can choose elective courses across diverse fields such as biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, breeding, genetics, evolutionary studies, microbiology, and plant pathology.

Qualification Requirements

International applicants must submit: 1. official copies in the native language of each transcript, 2. mark sheet and diploma/degree certificate from each university or college attended, 3. along with certified, literal (exact) English translations for documents not originally issued in English.

A 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for work completed in undergraduate junior and senior years. Applicants with a bachelor's degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0), calculated from all grades and credits after the semester where the applicant reached 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours is required.

For applicants from countries where English is not the ofcial language, a minimum score on one of these English Language Skills tests, IELTS - 6.0,TOEFL IBT- 80, PBT- 550.
