Biology majors benefit from the combined expertise and facilities of both the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, equipping students for professional paths in biological fields, postgraduate education, civic engagement, and continuous personal growth. This adaptable yet thorough program highlights life's varied structures, functions, and ecosystems. Participants fulfill core and optional coursework designed to foster analytical skills by exploring fundamental concepts and unifying theories of living organisms. Unlike specialized degrees in botany or zoology, the Biology major provides a more comprehensive perspective on biological sciences.
Students must have completed a secondary and college or university credentials from non-U.S. institutions.
The university will require the following minimum scores on the redesigned SAT: SAT Reading = 24, Writing and Language = 25 and Math = 24. On the ACT, a minimum score of 19 on the Reading section and 19 on the Math section.
