The School provides a combined degree pathway that integrates either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Ecology. This program follows standard undergraduate degree requirements, with qualified students permitted to enroll in up to 9 credits of graduate-level courses as part of their undergraduate electives, subject to School approval. These advanced courses apply toward the 30-credit requirement for both thesis and non-thesis Master's options in Interdisciplinary Ecology. Students can finish this accelerated program within one or several years after earning their Bachelor's degree.
The paired degree programs are designed to be completed consecutively without interruption. Combined degree curricula consist of a unified, continuous series of interconnected courses and academic experiences. Students must transition to the master's program within two semesters of completing their bachelor's degree unless granted an exception through an approved petition demonstrating special circumstances.
