Construction Management students can choose to graduate with a residential emphasis option, which includes receiving a certificate from the Rinker School upon completion. To pursue this option, students must declare their intent by their Junior II semester. Please note that this emphasis will not appear on your diploma or academic transcripts. The required coursework for the residential emphasis includes REE 3043 Real Estate Analysis and one of the following spring-only courses: REE 4303 Real Estate Investment Decision Making, BCN 4237 Roofing Systems, or BCN 4105 Sustainable Housing. Additionally, students must complete BCN 4787C Construction Capstone Project with a residential focus.

Qualification Requirements

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable). All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
