Options include specializations in music, music history and literature (including ethnomusicology), and music theory or composition. These programs hold accreditation from both NASM and SACS. The B.A. in Music allows students to focus on Ethnomusicology, Music History and Literature, Music Theory and Composition, or Performance. The curriculum covers music theory, performance practice, literature, history, and piano studies, exploring music's structure and expression across historical periods. Graduates develop performance abilities on their chosen instrument or voice, along with analytical listening skills.
